Adult Program

Students

Students of the adult program are graduates of the Suzuki program or adult learners who already have some basic knowledge of playing the violin.

Scheduling

Lessons are scheduled between 12pm-2:30pm on weekdays, and occasionally during after-school hours.

It is encouraged that the student send an email in advance of their lesson, outlining what they wish to cover that day.

Purpose

The number one priority of lessons for adult students is to ensure that the musician can play for years to come, free of discomfort or pain.

Many adult learners wish to play as part of a group – lessons can also be used to work on material learned at Fiddlejam or Hello Strings (amateur orchestra).

Policies

Cancellations or no-shows within 48hrs of the reserved lesson time will be charged at full price.

Lessons are scheduled via email, and it is the responsibility of the student to set adequate reminders of a lesson.

Students are required to wear masks to their lesson following illness, or have a lesson via zoom. Students who are actively ill must have their lesson via zoom. If a student arrives to a lesson ill, they will be turned away and the lesson will not be refunded.
