Dr. Mandy Ruthnum

Daisy Squires was my son’s very first violin teacher and we have the highest regard for her. She took a complete beginner and turned him into a little fiddler! She is very organized with her lesson plan, receptive to students and parents, and creative in her approach to each child. When my son was young, she incorporated games into the lessons to bring an element of fun. Through all her lessons she has a focus on correct bow hold, technique and good posture. She is a wonderful teacher and talented violinist and has the kind of warmth and personality that appeals to children and adults alike. My son still misses her very much and thinks that “Alberta is very lucky”. I highly recommend her!
